Shabbat Services

At CBD, we offer a variety of Shabbat services throughout the year that strive to meet the needs of our diverse Jewish community. All of our services are egalitarian and we welcome all to participate in prayer, singing and community spirit. Check our calendar for exact times and dates of services.

Kabbalat Shabbat Services

Every Friday evening except no service the first Friday during the months of September thru June.

Our Friday evening service is known for its intimacy and musical flavor, and is led by Rabbi Adler. Occasionally, a special guest speaker will discuss recent issues and trends.

Saturday Morning Shabbat Services

Every Saturday morning beginning in July through the High Holidays; First and third Saturday of the month beginning after the High Holidays through June.

Shabbat Morning Service is a traditional service. We focus on a prayer experience enhanced by congregational singing and participation.

Shabbat Service on the Beach

The last Friday during the months of June thru August.

A Kabbalat Shabbat service on the town beach spiritually enhanced by the sights and sounds of the ocean – one of our most popular services!

Family Shabbat Services

Held at various times during the year.

Kabbalat Shabbat and Saturday morning services where our students participate in leading services.

Pizza Shabbat

Held the first Friday during the months of September thru May.

A short service with stories, singing and dancing for the young and young at heart, followed by pizza, veggies, and fruit.
