Outdoor & Live Stream Kabbalat Shabbat & 4th Grade Moving Up Ceremony

Sewing for Foster Children
Join together to sew and put together bags for foster children in Rhode Island. Must show proof of vaccination and booster. Mask wearing is required in the building. We need: Sewers, helpers, sewing machines, ironing boards, irons. This is a fun activity for all ages and we will be helping others in need. Sewing for Foster Children Project
CBD is looking for volunteers for our annual “sewing of bags for Foster Children." Last year, we made and donated to 43 cloth bags to the Rhode Island Department of Children & Families (DCYF). Social workers give the bags to children when they are removed from their home or moved to a new foster home. The bags replace plastic garbage bags that would normally be given to the child to pack possessions. The Tikkun Olam Committee is requesting donations of…
